Anecon, founded in 1998, is a young and dynamic software company specialized in consulting software applications and support for the realization and implementation of software projects. At the moment there are 20 employees working for Anecon together with a team of highly specialized free-lancers bringing in target market expertise. The company's particular strengths are the project management, application modeling and software conception, with special focus on implementing new technologies (e.g. object oriented software applications, client/server/host architectures or internet/intranet solutions)
Anecon offers a wide variety of services, ranging from consulting (training, coaching pilot projects and support for software development projects) to the conception and realization of turnkey solutions. Amongst other a complete solution for the Austria Home Loan Bank was developed, including account and contract management, financial consulting tools and concepts on electronic payment systems based on VMC, Adabas and Natural technologies. Anecon offers a solution concept for insurance companies with a Java based user interface to integrate existing technologies and linking front and back office applications with the travelling sales force. In other projects an inventory system for Austrian Airlines and a payment system for the Austrian National Bank (Front End for ARTIS = Austrian Real Time Settlement System; Austrian Entry Point for TARGET) has been developed.
The majority of clients are large-scale enterprises (financial concerns, insurance's) relying in Anecon's know-how and experience and profound understanding of the client's problems. There is a close link with STUZZA (Studiengesellschaft für Zusammenarbeit im Zahlungsverkehr - headed by one of Anecon's owners), which has been founded by all banking institutes in Austria to foster co-operation and harmonization in the field of electronic payment. This connection will provide necessary background knowledge to guarantee best synergistic for INTELLECT - in financial sectors (Scaling - use of Quick, the Austrian clearance system) as well as in security sectors (digital signatures).
