INTELLECT reviewers at the first review

These consultants were suited for the Review not only because of their activities and experiences. They were also prepared very well. The following presentations were detailed and content wise discussed:

Project management (WWL)

Results of the request analysis from D03 (BIBA)

First market Survey from D04 (WWL)

Software functionalities: Specification manual from D07(Atlantide)

Specification of the module integration from D08 (Atlantide)

Dissemination and Use plan from D06 (BIBA)

Work plan overview of workpackage 03 (WWL)

After the consultants discussed during all lectures, comments and remarks with all project partners, they finally further-discussed behind locked doors. Finally the results of consultants were summarised and a rework phase was determined for October 15th. This rework was concluded likewise positively and should help to clarify open questions.

Overall much positively stand out that all of the partners weld together to a good team and the consortium possesses the correct mixture concerning the know-how. Likewise the presentations as well as the professional representation of all involved were emphasised positively.

Flexible business model

The still missing target group as well as the not yet available synergy with other European Union projects with similar contents were marked. Likewise the consultants referred to the focus of the project, spending not as much time regarding in the questions after security, the payment or the development of a new e-Shop-system. In opinion of the consultants the main innovations of the project are the3D-Visualisation and the possibility of the configuration within a 3D-Environment. To these main points of work the partners should refer mainly.

All final Deliverables were accepted. Rework will be integrated into newer reports. The consortium stressed that it will already thought over a Business plan during the project, what normally occurs after the end of a project from the European Union. Then also a target group can finally be determined, what will be extremely difficult before creation of a software product. All open points of discussion were clarified until October 15th . The next Review will take place at the end of April 2001.
